Ahoy Matey inspiration post

I'm late again (I belong in Alice in Wonderland!)
This should have been posted a few days ago.. sorry..

I used Ahoy Matey to decorate a folded book for my father in law on fathers day. (He loved it)

I am new to book folding and this was the first I'd made and actually given as a gift. The digi went with it perfectly.

I coloured her using Promarkers
Hair - walnut, coca, sandstone, satin
skin - apricot, oatmeal, blush
dress/hat/shoes/belt - cool aqua, duck egg, sky blue, true blue

I used some co-ordinating papers from  my stash to mat and layer her.
Printed my own sentiment.
Twisted a pipe cleaner with blue twine to look like rope to  decorate the spine of the book.
and wrapped red and white wool around a curtain ring to look like a life bouy.

Please pop over to Karleigh Sue and join in the latest challenge.
We love to see your projects.

Kind Regards
Theresa

Just a walk in the park

by Cheri

I love this sweet image. All set to go with her books on the way to the park to sit in the shade and maybe study.. maybe not.
I printed her onto neenah cardstock and coloured her with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils then imported the coloured image into Craft Artist 2 where I removed the white surrounding the image and added the countryside background.

Kiss This!!!

Hi there everyone, Rachel here with you today with a bit of a cheeky card.... you can leave me your suggestions on who I should send it to in the comments section if you like :P

I have used 'Cuddie Buddie'

to create this fairly CAS layout

The papers I used were from Prima, and I finished the card off with some ultra chunky 4mm
silver half pearls.. I love them for adding a little bling!

Love Notes

Isn't she the sweetest little Postlady! I do love these images..so crisp and clear and so very easy to colour. This time I pictured her in a little English Market Town early in the morning when it is just starting to warm up with the bunting fluttering and the birds singing with the town looking so clean after last nights rain. I printed her onto neenah and coloured her with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. Then I used Craft Artist 2 to remove the white and to create the Town background. I do hope you will join in with the challenges here http://karleighsuechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

I wish you the best of luck with your entries. Sue xx

Well, as our summer seemed to have been last week.
And today has just started to chuck it down with rain..
what better time to share a cheery male birthday card

I coloured it with the following promarkers - turquoise, powder blue, arctic blue, sky blue, raw sienna, terracotta, chestnut.

I used some papers and matching sentiment that were free with a magazine.
And cut 6 circles with a punch and turned them into candy.
