It's Bikini Season

Good Morning Lovelies!!

The adorable image I have for you today is Bikini Season.  Do you get to the gym and workout?  Me- not so much.  Maybe if I did,  I would look as AWESOME as this image. LOL However, the gym would cut into my Copic coloring time- don't you agree? LOL

However, if I keep saying this mantra- Imagine, Believe, Achieve...maybe someday I will get there.  So have you gone over to the Karleigh Sue ETSY store and chosen an image for the Karleigh Sue Challenge Blog?  Get on over there and win yourself some free digis.
Hugs,
Amy

Be An Original

Hello everyone!  It's Audrey from the DT and here I am, back on the Karleigh Sue Inspiration blog with another creation to share using one of the brilliant images from Karleigh Sue Etsy Shoppe.  I hope everyone is having a great start to summer!  We had an entire week of rain last week, but I am hoping to have some nicer weather this week.

Today, I am using Zombie Princess image which can be found in Karleigh Sue Etsy Shoppe.  This is a super fun image and as always, so much fun to color!

I have another different kind of fold to share today and this time it's a split easel card.  I hope you like seeing some different folds, they are definitely fun to play around with!

Another thing about today's creation is that I decided to go completely out of my comfort zone of bright colors and go to a more zombiefied place:)  So, I went with

Copic colors as follows:

Hair - C3, C5, C7, RV66
Skin - RV000, RV00, RV02, V01, V04
Crown - N3, N5, N7, V04, V06
Dress V01, V04, V06, V09, N3, N5, N7

Image is highlighted with V000

My DP is from Prima (cats) and Recollections.  I chose sentiment from Jaded Blossom that is cut with Lil Inker die.  Image cut with Nestie.  Bling flourishes are from Prima.

I sure hope you like how this came out and hopefully it has provided some inspiration for you:)  Remember to check out Karleigh Sue Etsy ShoppeKarleigh Sue Facebook Fan Group and Karleigh Sue Challenge blog.  Have a great day!!

Hugs:)

Sassy Summer (Curly)- Inspiration for June 9th

Hello Fellow Crafters!   It's Amy here- to add a little inspiration to your happy summer day.  Have you had a chance to stop by the Karleigh Sue Challenge Blog?  We have a challenges that start on the 1st and 15th of every month...and the prizes are amazing!!!  Lots of FREE images.

My adorable image used today is Sassy Summer (Curly)- I have had her colored up for awhile and then she went missing!!  I could not find her anywhere, I thought maybe she was tossed in the trash...(oh- the horror)!!  But I was going through a paper bin and she was there...I was trying to find the perfect paper to pair her with and must have tossed her in the bin.  LOL

I decided to dust off my Cricut and found a cute shaped card on my Birthday Bash cartridge.  I also used an older line of paper from Simple Stories- felt good to finally make use of supplies that have been in my craft room for ages.  Hope you have a super Sassy Summer!
HUGS,
Amy

Apple of My Eye inspiration

Morning fellow crafters,
The sun has finally decided to join us and its a glorious sunny morning.
I am shooting by to share today inspirational post from Karleigh Sue. Apple of my Eye.
My plan was to use her as my wedding anniversary card for next month.

I used pro-markers to colour her
Hair - black, ice grey 5, ice grey 1
skin - apricot, oatmeal, blush
Dress - denim, pastel blue, cornflower

I have quite a few pots of unused flower soft so decided to use it on the hair band.
Found a piece of pre-printed vellum, scrap ribbons and a heart charm in my stash.

I had a pile of DL cards in the craft room so decided to use one of those to build the card on.

I hope you get inspired by her and the many other beuatiful images over at Karleigh Sue.

kind regards

Theresa

Listen Hunni

Heres one of the many new digis over at the Karleigh Sue shop. This One is called Listen Hunni. This gal has attitude which I love and its that attitude that influenced how I made this card.
I started off with a square red base card I then matted it with blue. I then used papers from Kaiser, The bricks are from the base coat collection and the graffiti is from their Attitude collection so is the sentiment Chillin'. I coloured hunni with copic markers and then cut her out and popped her up with double sided foam tape.
The colours that I used are
E000,E00,E01,R20,E17,E19,B37,B39,C2,C4,C7,C9,B41,B45,R32,R35,R37
