Birthday Sweets

Heres a sassy digi from Karleigh Sue! Its called Birthday Sweets. With out meaning to this card came out Red White and Blue mostly, so its very patriotic plus I wanted it to be party like so I used glitter.
I started with a blue base card then matted in a red patterned glitter card. I also die cut bunting out of silver glitter card. I coloured this image with copic markers and added some kindy glitz to her party hat. To finish off I added some gems and a silver Party sentiment.
The copic markers that I used are:
E23,E27,Y23,B34,B37,R24,RV17,E53,Y17,E33,B39,R27,R20,E51,RV23,RV21,E02,E000,E00,C1,
R22.

Pampered

Today I am showcasing the lovely dig Pampered by Karleigh Sue. Im not sure yet if Im going to use this as a Mother's Day card or Birthday card yet. Its so versatile like that.
To make this card I started with a pearlised cream card and then matted in a dark blue card. I then added a paper from Cre8tive and added some lace. I roughed up all the edges of the paper and blue card for a distressed look . In my mind I was thinking shabby chic. I stamped the sentiment in blue ink onto pink card and cut out with a punch I also added some pink pearls. I coloured my image with copic markers and then cut it out and popped it up with double sided foam tape for dimension.
Im really happy with how this turned out.
Hers the link so you can make a Pampered card too: Pampered

Russel and Stanley

Aren't these the sweetest little woodland creatures! They actually come as a set.. how's that for value and wouldn't they look gorgeous framed in a kiddies bedroom.
I have printed the images onto neenah cardstock and coloured them with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. Then I imported them both into Craft Artist where I built up the backgrounds.

Sparkly Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone!  It's Audrey  and here I am, back on the Karleigh Sue Inspiration blog with another creation to share using one of the brilliant images from Karleigh Sue Digi Shoppe.

Today, I am using Baby Shower Cake image which can be found in Karleigh Sue Etsy Shoppe and Karleigh Sue Digi Shoppe.

There is a lot of detail in this image which makes it super fun to color.  I used it for a baby birthday card, but it can obviously be used for a baby shower card, baby shower invite or any other type of baby related celebration.  Another great things about this image is that is can be used for a boy or a girl.  Since I found this cute DP from Kaisercraft, I decided to color my image more girly.

Copic colors used as follows:

Bear E31, E35, E57, E79
All blues BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13, BG18
All pinks RV11, RV21, RV23, RV25, RV09
All yellows Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28 and E33
Greys C0, C2, C4, C6
Browns used on bottom layer of cake, polka dots on top layer and in center of flowers are E43, E44, E47
Browns in middle cake layer are E30, E31 and E33

Image is highlighted with BG000 and grounded with C0 and C2.

Image is cut out with Taylored Expression dies.  Sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's and is cut with Whimsy die.  Bling flourish is from Prima.

I sure hope you like how this came out and hopefully it has provided some inspiration for you:)  Remember to check out New Karleigh Sue Digi ShoppeKarleigh Sue Facebook Fan Group and Karleigh Sue Challenge blog.  Have a great day!!

Gone Fishin' Tra la la la la

I am so happy to be part of this awesome team and have coloured Gone Fishin'

I am now part of the Karleigh Sue Design Team and I'm having a lovely time colouring up these super cute images. I think this is a lovely Spring/Summer image of a young girl having a wonderful day out. Fresh air, little ducklings, fishing and some sandwiches. Not a care in the world. My grand daughter would be her friend as she loves fishing too.
I printed this image onto neenah cardstock which I think works so well with my promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. After colouring her I scanned the image onto my computer and used Craft Artist 2 to make the background.
I hope you like my project.
