Treasure for life- Handmade album

Hi there everyone, it has been a chaotic day, but I am bringing you news of a new fun Facebook based challenge hosted by Donna Jerret of colourists unite and sponsored by us over at Karleigh Sue Digital stamps.
There is a NEW image and she is currently EXCLUSIVE for this challenge ...
'Treasure for Life'

If you belong to both groups(colourists unite, and the karleigh Sue facebook group) and ask for her in the correct place, she is yours to colour for FREE! so come and say hello to usand go over and see the lovely Donna too!

I was lucky enough to be able to play with the image ahead of the challenge, and I wanted to share my make with you now I am allowed to show it!

I have made a handmade album with pages blank for journalling or for adding photos to.
There are 24 pages that are 6" by just under 6" due to the binding,

The whole item is made by hand, and hand bound.

The image 'treasure for life' a poignant pregnant mermaid, is coloured with copics and a white gelly roll pen

the background is created using Prima Bloom spray ink in soft teal, and stampendous frantage in shabby white.

The lace and burlap flowers are made by Cheri and will be available soon in the karleigh sue etsy store- they add a  gorgeous touch of vintage whimsy to your fantasy and vintage projects.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The lace is from my stash

Each page has been shabbified with Tim Holtz distress ink in peacock feathers
and the pages themselves are a variety of pastel tones.
