It's my Birthday

This is such a pretty image and a delight to colour. I printed her onto neenah and coloured her with promarkers and pencils. I then imported the coloured image into Craft Artist 2 where I removed the white surround and added some materials and embellishments and a background.

Poodle Skirt - Inspirational post

Todays inspirational post uses Karleigh Sue Poodle skirt digi.

For a change I went for a different card shape - a rocker stepper.

I cut my card stock into a circle and scored the center fold, making a stepper in right hand side.

I used my tonic doiley die to cut the background and layered her up on co-ordinating pink/blue papers that were free in a craft magazine.

I coloured her using pro markers in colours to co-ordinate with the papers

skin - apricot, oatmeal, blush
hair - henna, cocoa, cinnamon, tan
skirt - pastel blue, cool aqua, duck egg
t-shirt - cerise, salmon pink
bows - sky blue, azure, true blue

I had fun making this card and hope it inspires you to make and share on Karleigh Sue's challenge blog

kind regards
Theresa

Let me perk you up, Midweek inspiration from Rachel

Hey there everyone, I'm bringing you a 'criss cross card' today , which has a central pocket, and stands using a card easel, instead of the typical basic folded card!

I had a lot of fun making this card, and when some dies that arrived whilst I was making it , I just had to incorporate them as they looked so pretty once embellished with some stamping and little sentiments!

I put together a quick look around the card, unfortunately my internet keels over if the file is too big or long so it really is a quick look!

all the products I have used are listed in the end credits, apart from my copic colours which are :

Skin: E000,E00,E21,E11,E04 R20
Hair : E18, E13, YR23, Y21
Scarf & Mittens :BG02,BG05,BG07,BG09

CUP- W00, N2, E13, E18
Sweater - YR14,YR23, YR21

(E13 is being used as a substitute for the darker E15, as I'm awaiting a refill for that particular pen)

Thank you for looking, and reading,

We will be heard

Dog Days of Summer

It's my very 1st time doing an inspiration post here!  I'm very excited about it!  For my 1st post here I decided to used the great image for making a little door hanger.  I wanted to make something that would be put on the door to the garage for when I'm doing a video :)  So I used the fab Dog Days of Summer.

I wanted to make sure that my kids would not get in... and this is what I came up with lol.  Hope that is something that you will like.

I colored the image with my copics and you can see a close up here.  If you want more details you can come and see it on my blog here.

I really hope that you have liked my latest inspiration for you.

Hugs

50 Shades of Blue

Hi everyone! Today Im sharing a make using the awesome 50 Shades of Blue by Karleigh Sue Designs. I loved loved loved colouring this. To make my card I started with a green card blank and then matted with a razzelberry card stock that I used a border punch on. I then used a background from craftsuprint. I embossed it with a sentiment. I printed my digi out and coloured her with copic markers. I then cut her out and popped her up with double sided tape. I added a gem and a little starfish to embellish.
Here are the colours that I used:
E000,E00,E01,R20,E55,E57,E59,BG10,BG11,BG13,E31,E35,B02,B04,RV02,RV04,C1,C2,C3,C5
Heres the link to this fantastic image 50 Shades of Blue
To see some of my other makes head on over to my blog at Deb Vees Craft Place

Lets Go Team Inspirational post

Todays inspiration post uses Karleigh Sues Lets Go Team digi

I'm guessing as our artist is American this is aimed at being American football,
But being a Brit I used artistic licence to turn it into a rugby theme.

I used Polychromo pencils.
Shades of blacks and greys for the hair.
Flesh and blush for her skin.
Then shades of orange for her team strip.

The rugby ball is just in light shades of grey.

I found co-ordinating coloured papers in my stash to bring it all together.
Hand cutting a rugby ball shape.

And a peel of Dad that I coloured black with a Sharpie pen.

This is in our favourite rugby league team colours - Castleford Tigers..

Please pop over to Karleigh Sue challenge blog and share your projects.
We love to see what you have been up to.

Kind regards

Theresa

Playdate

I love to just relax and play with Cheri's images. They are very clear.. no fussy bits of nonsense.. you know exactly what you are seeing. I think this is the perfect image to colour for a crafty friend.. bright and cheerful and promising a great day of fun and laughter.
Coloured with pencils and imported into Craft Artist 2 where I removed the white surround and added the background. This didn't take all day to colour and was so enjoyable... I can see myself colouring this sweet image many more times.
