Ahoy Matey inspiration post

I'm late again (I belong in Alice in Wonderland!)
This should have been posted a few days ago.. sorry..

I used Ahoy Matey to decorate a folded book for my father in law on fathers day. (He loved it)

I am new to book folding and this was the first I'd made and actually given as a gift. The digi went with it perfectly.

I coloured her using Promarkers
Hair - walnut, coca, sandstone, satin
skin - apricot, oatmeal, blush
dress/hat/shoes/belt - cool aqua, duck egg, sky blue, true blue

I used some co-ordinating papers from  my stash to mat and layer her.
Printed my own sentiment.
Twisted a pipe cleaner with blue twine to look like rope to  decorate the spine of the book.
and wrapped red and white wool around a curtain ring to look like a life bouy.

Please pop over to Karleigh Sue and join in the latest challenge.
We love to see your projects.

Kind Regards
Theresa

Just a walk in the park

by Cheri

I love this sweet image. All set to go with her books on the way to the park to sit in the shade and maybe study.. maybe not.
I printed her onto neenah cardstock and coloured her with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils then imported the coloured image into Craft Artist 2 where I removed the white surrounding the image and added the countryside background.

HBIC inspirational post

It's Bettina here today and it is my turn to host  another inspirational post for Karleigh Sue. I've used the fab HBIC and made a sweet little card with her. Hope you'll like it.

I've used my Go Kreate dies to make the shape and HBIC is coloured with my promarkers. More details in my blog here.

Kiss This!!!

Hi there everyone, Rachel here with you today with a bit of a cheeky card.... you can leave me your suggestions on who I should send it to in the comments section if you like :P

I have used 'Cuddie Buddie'

to create this fairly CAS layout

The papers I used were from Prima, and I finished the card off with some ultra chunky 4mm
silver half pearls.. I love them for adding a little bling!

Waves of Grief

Hey there Karleigh Sue fans!  Today I am popping in to share a bit of mid-week inspiration with you.  For today's card I am using an image that is so lovely, and has been on my lost for some time.  She is called 'Waves of Grief', and you can find her here in the Karleigh Sue Etsy Shop.  I kept my card fairly simple, as I believe the image say so much on it's own.  I would love to know what you think.

You can find more details - including Copic colors - on my blog This Creative Day.  I love visitors:)

We invite you to follow our fabulous blog here (if you don't already), so that you see inspiration posts from all of our wonderful DT members, and to see all of the new releases as soon as they're revealed!
